Together with Charlotte Spruit (violin) and Takehiro Konoe (viola), I have been nominated for the Grachtenfestival Award 2024! The festival gave us each carte blanche to put together a program. On Tuesday, August 27 together with members of Camerata RCO, I will play a kaleidoscopic concert around the romanticism of a very young Mahler (Piano Quartet), Schnittke's 20th-century response to it (Piano Quartet), the lyricism of Chopin (Nocturnes), the vitality of Copland (Vitebsk) and the infectious, jazzy music of Schoenfield (Cafe Music). The award ceremony will take place on Friday, August 30 , during the Night of the Grachtenfestival Award.
